  February 1, 2024 - Nicely ripened Cabernet Sauvignon, so the varietal character remains, including some of the bell pepper. Deep purple color. Well-integrated oak (cola, clove, vanilla, charred wook). QPR is solid. Very good.

  August 10, 2023 - Yiannis shipped the wrong wine and this never came. I got the 2019 Capture Merlot sent to me instead of this wine. They gave me a 30% discount off of this price and I kept the merlot.

  March 11, 2023 - Relatively smooth, lots of dark fruit. But of citrus up front. Plum and dark cherry finish. Definitely let breathe before consuming.

  July 8, 2022 - I really wanted to like this wine since wines from this AVA are not that common and it’s one of the highest elevation vineyards in its area. However, it just has this “cheap supermarket wine” quality where it tastes very manufactured and just hollow. Within the JFW portfolio, think I would easily take the $20 vintners reserve Cabernet over this any day. I hope my bottle is an outlier
