  December 9, 2011 - App: brick red with brown/orange rim
  Aroma: very nice an intense nebbiolo nose with fresh roses, tar, licorice, spice, some cherries and a touch of cow shed. A faint hint of oak. Nice!
  Medium-bodied with excellent acidity and very available, but supporting tannins.
  Medium+ length.
  
  A fully matured nebbiolo, drink up! An impressive nose, but doesn't quite follow up on the palate. A great wine, but slightly over the top.

  September 22, 2011 - A bit flat at this point, past it's prime. Better smell than taste. But still a great price for an old nebbiolo ("chiavannasca").

  July 2, 2010 - Excellent mature nebbiolo on the nose. On the first day I found the smell to be better than the taste which had a bit too thin fruit against the alcohol. But I still found it to be very good considering the price.
  Four days after it suddenly all came together in perfect balance. Excellent QPR
