  February 21, 2024 - This wine punches well above its price point at $13. Although it is distinctive of Cab franc, it is not as tight and reserved as most Cab Franc wines I’ve had, albeit it does drink very dry rather than fruit forward. It benefits from aeration. The wine has good structure and is full bodied; not remotely flabby; it has restrained dark fruit. Not much of a nose.
  Well worth picking up a few more bottles.

  January 31, 2022 - Bought 5b for CAD 15.5/b (+ 15%) from a gov store just now; this is #1. Dark purple; rich, ripe red plum, some ripe black cherry that follow on the palate, very good mouthfeel. Almost delicious. Impressive, almost delicious for an everyday red. Much better after 24h under vacuvin and likely to improve with 1-2 years. Glad to have more. Quality, age, price in BC: Notable+.

  Palate: Cranberry. Raspberry. Slight strawberry. Fresh. Medium plus acidity. Medium plus tannins. Dry. Medium body. Medium flavour intensity.
  
  Finish: Herbaceous. Medium to long.
