April 27, 2024 - Pours a light pale gold color. Reticent on the nose with a touch of candied lemon and white flowers.

Medium-bodied in feel with moderate acidity. Crisp on the palate with notes of ruby red grapefruit, pear, lemon drop candy, and quinine. Very dry and just slightly bitter on the finish. For me, this drinks better cooler than when it warms a little.

Pretty good wine and a nice change of pace, as I don't drink a lot of semillon.

January 20, 2024 - First time trying dry semillon. Lightly saline and citrus pith aroma, not highly aromatic at open.

Flavors of autumn crisp apples, lemon drop candy, and white peach juice with decent acidity. Solid 30+ second finish with no tannin and an oily texture.

Enjoyable to drink on its own. It’s an interesting wine that’s worlds apart from the Sauternes I know.
