August 12, 2023 - PnP. Peach, marmalade, some floral notes, flint and stones, some petrol in the finish. Medium body, understated acidity, moderate sweetness. There's good acidity to match the sweetness, but it seems more of a supporting character. The fruit is front and center, but there's enough underlying acidity to give the fruit a juicy and fresh quality. There's a lot to like now, but I think this will really shine with some bottle age.

July 27, 2022 - A pretty primrose colour. Fresh on the nose, with a touch of reduction and some cream and sweet fruit, then gossamer-light sweet flowers. Really a lot to the palate: lemon marmalade, quite grippy, barely sweet, tremendously mouthwatering. Pineapple and quince predominate on the enduring finish. Lovely, well-balanced wine - remarkably drinkable!

June 29, 2021 - 2020 Kabinetts with Howard Ripley (Zoom!): SW-facing. Blue slate. 8.5%
Sensational soft, rounded nose; really enamouring, relatively mature, with some rose. Thick lemon/lime scent and flavour. Lots of mineral drive. Really yummy – juicy citrus fruit, lemon sherbert. Really fills and coats the mouth. Little flecks of zippy acidity pep things up. Some cream cheese and chive savour towards the finish...!
