December 19, 2023 - This blew my mind — incredibly complex and layered with the expected cherries but also wild licorice and sandalwood and all sorts of exotic mysterious things. One of those wines you just want to keep going back to, to see what else it’s come up with or to try to understand its nuances. Amazing. While drinking I mentally scored it a 98-99 but I’m tempering my “official” score a bit because I was several glasses in and having a fun dinner so I’m sure that was part of it (though the rest of the wines that night didn’t have the same halo)

December 17, 2023 - See previous notes. Medium ruby in glass. Medium intensity on the nose. Cherries, cola, rhubarb, forest floor and green stalk. New oak evident. Medium acidity and medium minus tannins. Nice finish.

May 29, 2023 - Medium ruby with slight garnet hues. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Ripe raspberry, bubble gum and forest floor. Medium acidity and tannins that could use some time. Medium plus finish. Enjoyable today but could benefit from additional bottle age.
