February 16, 2024 - Not decanted. From a small bottle. A really great young Pichon Lalande. For me, the best young wine from this estate, only the 2016 vintage impressed me even more when young. I think it will be an exceptional wine with about 10 years in the cellar.

November 22, 2023 - Enchanting nose with fragrant layers of blackcurrant, fine spices and cedar. Structured, elegant and fresh on the palate. Incredible persistence on the finish. So much potential.

October 12, 2023 - medium deep purple color, pure cassis fruit on the nose- slightly roasted, some oak spice, plum note, on the palate a buttery and joyous fruit akin to the Haut-Brion, for the moment this is all fruit on the palate- and showing beautifully, out of all the wines served tonight this is the one I would open now for dinner if I had to choose, good length, lovely wine and the only question is whether its hallmark nuances will fully emerge in time or if this will remain more fruit-driven.
