Community Tasting Notes 3

    December 13, 2022 - Hah!
What an utterly displeasing wine, even if it has some minor non-flaws.
    No PN character.
    Too high and tart acidity.
    Complexity - none.
    Intensity: ha!
Balance: mmmmaaaahh, njae. To some degree, but needs, for instance, a tomato salad to help balance it off. By itself, it's not well.
    Length: fell down a cliff.

Will avoid this wine for the rest of my life.

Best quality: reminds you of the old adage that you get what you pay for. ….and I got this for free as part of an auction lot…

Won't even make sauce in our household.

(Seems other CTers were lucky to get a different juice.)

October 2, 2021 - Ripe red berries with spicy oak on the nose. Medium bodied, supple and smooth, showing ripe, sweetish lingon- and cranberries with some spicy oak, decent acidity and gentle tannins. Very nice basic pinot with great value.

August 14, 2021 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black pepper and blackberry. It tastes like prune, blackberry and black pepper. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Concha y Toro is the best daily wine, and the price is good in Korea. Is there a difference between cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir produced by Casillero del Diablo?
