November 4, 2012 - Candied ginger, carambola and crushed seashells. Very opulent but with high acidity. Unique and satisfying, a real "wow" wine.

November 21, 2010 - The fascinating bouquet charms with soft foral and gummi bear notes, the mildest of sweet onion, a whiff of cheese (swiss?), autumn leaves, and cocoa. An aperitif of the driest tangy tangerine, stone hearth, and celery leaf.

August 13, 2008 - Natural Wines of Italy (Jug Shop, San Francisco, CA): High-toned with some orange and musty elements. There was some discussion of TCA at a very low level? Rich but with thrusting acidity. Almost like crushed ceramic flavors. Pretty awesome Treb. Insane price.
