August 22, 2022 - I agree with all the previous comments , probably drank this too early and it’s just so drinkable , so elegant , such great balance

August 3, 2022 - NobleRottersSydney - Yarra Yering (Fix, St James, Sydney): {screwcap, 13.5%} Shiraz 96%, mataro 3%, viognier 1%, with extra (frozen !) viognier skins added to the ferment. Dark-hued. Eucalypt and Blackberry nose. A bit steely. Iron fillings on the palate, black fruit, soft oak. And a touch of earth. Predictably youthful. Medium/full weight, with medium chalky tannins and medium acidity. Even palate. Medium length finish. Perhaps a bit clinical? Or just needs time? OK. $130 from the website. Ouch.

March 27, 2022 - 1% viognier, 3% Mataro. The Marsanne usually present got sunburnt in the hot summer.
Spicy, aromatic nose.
Fine, cool climate Shiraz. Wonderful balance. Drinking now but will live long.
The 2019 vintage saw a hot summer and a cool autumn, which appears to have made the tannins very ripe and a flavour profile that looks more advanced. This shows in all the 2019 Shiraz-based wines I looked at. My gut feel is this will not impact the longevity, but we shall see. Acid is in line with prior years.2 people found this helpful Comment -

November 28, 2021 - Real Review - Top Wineries of Australia (Campbell's store, Circular Quay West, The Rocks, Sydney): Cream, slightly jubey black fruit sweet spice, polished oak, blackberry tends to plum, pretty nose. Juicy, fleshy, floury textured tannins, blackberry fruit. Pretty. Rather lovely.

September 4, 2021 - Very big wraps on this but I found it borderline undrinkable. Huge oak, very rich must have quite a bit of alcohol not much in common with the Yarra Valley. Lacks elegance and refinement, not my cup of tea.
