Community Tasting Notes 3

November 13, 2015 - Deep gold color. Mature aromas of roasted stone fruits and Meyer lemons. Initially a bit flat on the palate, but this woke up with air and became deeper, bolder, and more vibrant with time. Very rich and viscous but not too sweet. With enough air, this is pretty complex and impressive, but it's still a little too broad and imprecise. In any event, a tasty and interesting wine that's at peak.

January 29, 2012 - Pale, clear golden color. talc and lime on the nose with just a hint of petrol. Bright, lively and acidic - very nicely balanced with a long finish. Heavy on the cirtus fruit and minerals. Plenty of time left in this one, and drinking beautifully today.

December 16, 2004 - Dinner at Everest. Medium yellow in color, it was interesting to have this just a week after having the '01. This wine is still very youthful and loaded with minerals and stones with added notes of honey, mirabelles and a little note of flowers. Racy acidity in this medium bodied wine. Medium length finish, this still has many more years of increased complexity and pleasure. 50+12+12+8+8 = 90.
