December 29, 2023 - Great pqr. Well made.Inviting nose. Plum, black currant, bay leave touch of vanilla and tabaco. Will be better in a year or 2, but definitely approachable now.

November 13, 2023 - Clos Floridene's 2020 rouge is an opaque crimson blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Aromatically oozing with red and black bramble fruits, mulling spices, tobacco, savory herbs, iron and violets, it is a medium-bodied, energetic red with nicely integrated alcohol (14%), silky-textured tannins and proportionate oak. With flavors that mirror the nose, a dense mid-palate and medium-to-long finish, this is beyond impressive for any wine at such an attractive price point. Sampled over four hours from a bottle that had been decanted through a Vinturi aerator, it fully opened after the first two hours in carafe. Drink now-2035.

September 30, 2023 - Drank same night as the white from this winery. This one is young, so we decanted 1+ hours

Medium mouthfeel. Tannins weren't aggressive. Lots of black pepper on the palate with an undernote of dark cherry. This is nice, but will probably be better in 3-5 years.

March 21, 2023 - Savory edged, bright, spicy, red plums and currants on the nose lead you to the vibrant, chewy, lifted, red berry filled, medium-bodied palate with its dusty tannins in the finish. Drink from 2023-2032.

May 22, 2021 - 91-92 vvPunkte Sehr schöne, komplexe Nase. 2024-2035 (April/Mai 2021) vvWine.ch
