January 29, 2024 - La Vie du Vin featuring Ch. Lafleur and Martine's Wines (Blackberry Farm, TN): Phenomenal now and heading for greatness in 20-60 years. Soft tannins. Graphite. Balanced and elegant.

September 30, 2023 - My colleagues and I were finally able to organize a mini Lafleur vertical last night (an old dream that was very, very difficult to bring together) to redefine the odds against the fabulous 2022 vintage. Once again, we can't put 100 points everywhere.
1) 2019 - 2022 (sample) 100/100
3) 2020 99-100/100
4) 2018 99/100
5) 2016 - 2021 (sample) 98-99/100
7) 2015 98/100
8) 2012 -2017 97/100
10) 2014 96-97/100
11) 2013 94/1001 person found this helpful Comment -

August 21, 2023 - Violets, lilacs, roses, cocoa, mint, licorice, dark cherries, plums, sandalwood and saffron open the wine. The wine explodes in the glass with the essence of plums, black cherries, dark chocolate and spice. It is not the fruits, it is the intensity, opulent-exotic textures, richness and multiple levels of depth of flavor on the palate that make this an extraordinary tasting experience. And if that isn't enough, the more than 60-second, seamless, finish, with all the fruits that build in intensity seals the deal. With a bit of time to age and evolve, this could hit 100 Pts! The wine blends 53% Cabernet Franc and 47% Merlot. 14.8% ABV, 3.7 pH. Drink from 2030-2060.

February 1, 2023 - Un vin grandiose, tout est là, il suffit d'attendre.... longtemps!
Un des plus grands Lafleur jamais fait, à part le gigantesque 2019 qui est hors concours.1 person found this helpful Comment -

June 25, 2021 - For me the greatest wine of 2020 (with Carmes HB and Canon) of a fabulous freshness and finesse at the same time as a great power due, without any doubt possible to the large part of Cabernet Franc (46%) which is certainly the grape variety of the future in Bordeaux. And too bad for those who have not yet understood. Even Petrus has just planted it but it will not be in the great wine for at least 10 years.
