June 8, 2023 - Shows that Bernkasteler weight. Could perhaps use just a bit more zip. Not the same level of finesse as a recent '20 Loosen Wehlener Sonneuhr Spatlese. Still, excellent purity, minerality & Loosen class.

Nice Strow yellow color. Medium to light body. Medium acidity... but (of course) sweet... Nicely aromatic, honey (dominant), minerals, green apple, pear, citrus, lime, lemon, peach... same on the palate... enjoyable, almost addicting 😇 -

March 24, 2022 - Lovely wine. Red and green apple, hint of sweet lemon, touch of tropical. Balanced, good length, excellent underlying acid. Very drinkable.

Red apple, mango and mandarin. Slippery. Spritzing like lemonade. Long and tingling. Excellent balance. Length for days, enjoyable in youth but will drink well and develop well any time over next 5 years or more. Watch it get old, will be fascinating. Shared at end of year WineGeeks. 93.
