April 3, 2024 - Inky purple dark color. Nose is red and black fruits, florals, vanilla, lacking some complexity. With some air, the medium-bodied palate is mellow, with maraschino cherry or kirsch, ripe red fruit, vanilla, earthy greens, a hint of spice. Well balanced, but tannins are there for a long stay in the cellar. Neither the nose nor the palate are particularly well defined, but I think this could be superb in a few years. A bit lighter than other Bordeaux I've enjoyed, can't decide if I like that or not. Very drinkable now.
