January 28, 2023 - Ever so slight blush tint. On the palate, there's also red fruit nuances. Delicate strawberry note. I would say wild strawberrys, but then we're into Bergman territory, and this is more overtly hedonistic. Lovely balance, this would cellar well. But it also drinks well tonight.

January 22, 2023 - Strawberries, toasted brioche, a bit of orange peel, and an intriguing saline note on the nose. The palate has medium acidity and more delicious toasted notes. Medium length finish with the orange peel standing out. Very nice champagne.

October 19, 2021 - Aside of the reserve 2002 en magnum from the family's cellar this to me was the stand-out of an evening with Pierre Paillard champagnes. To me much better than the 15 (which appeared a tiny bit flabby comparatively) the 16 just has so much tension and energy, so honed. Had to take a case for my cellar.
