April 12, 2018 - This bottle wasn't stored very well, but it showed pretty well regardless. Cassis, black cherry, dried red cherry, green and brown tobacco, new leather, a little menthol, chocolate, and earth on the nose. Tart cherry, cassis, black cherry, earth, green herbs, and leather on the palate. Very good acidity, mostly resolved tannins, medium-long finish. Full-bodied, mature, and delicious, this wine could probably last more years. Personally, I would drink it now.

October 26, 2016 - Huge, floral nose, decadent fruit, classic Napa Cabernet. Loved it.

June 13, 2016 - Very dark purple in the glass. Something of a green viny nose. Lots of black currant/blackberry on the tip of the tongue. Some herbality—basil, mint—that is, really, quite pleasant. Something of a dusty sensation which I would attribute to tannin. Not distracting, but noticeable. Something of slate or tarry sensation at the rear palate. A very delicious wine. It may have leveled off in its development, but I do not see any near term rush for anybody who has this in their cellar.

December 25, 2012 - The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Black currant (cassis), and Blackberry. It tastes like and Tobacco. The body is Medium/Full. The wine finishes Long.
