October 16, 2022 - Second time around on this one. Blinded, I think I would have said Chenin. Apple comes through on the nose but it does not have the typical mid-palate richness of even a Chablis. Very lean. Very acidic . Last time I was worried about a flawed bottle . This bottle is not flawed but quite tart and slightly out of balance .

August 4, 2022 - I may have a flawed bottle on my hands. The cork “jumped “ out as if there was some gas. The nose has Granny Smith apple, loads of lemon and some earth on the nose. After 30 minutes of air (in the bottle, not decanted) the acidity is out of balance, even for a leaner Chablis-style. After a lot of air, the acid is still out of balance. I love Domaine de la Cote, but this one is off

March 19, 2022 - What the, I love this wine. Has none of the characteristics you'd expect in a domestic Chardonnay. This smells and tastes just like a solid white Burgundy. Lovely unctuous texture, fantastic balance, flinty nose, green apples, some grass notes, and tons of minerality. Love the richer yellow color and the weight on this. If blind, I would've guessed Bernard Moreau.

Amazing stuff. Wish I had a case.

March 16, 2022 - Really nice chard, crisp, pretty nose, nice fruit, not too oaky, good balance, med finish
