December 2, 2011 - Well balanced and smooth going down. The dark fruit is pretty overwhelmed by pepper. Thin mouthfeel. Not a bad wine for price, but not a repeat purchase for me.

October 2, 2007 - This wine was ruby/purple in color, dense and clear with signs of glycerol. Nots of white pepper, black cherry, black currant and earth on the nose. Plenty of acidity with drying tannins and a bitter aftertaste.

Medium red colour, opaque with a decent nose. A little rough on the palate since it's quite young - the tannins are quite potent but not overpowering. Quite well-extracted and almost new-world in flavor, lots of black berries, blackcurrants, cherries without any sweetness.
