April 13, 2024 - PNP. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, cassis, chocolate, bran muffin, and subtle toffee. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This is a nice, solid, entry-level, Bevan-made CS. It was the warm-up bottle at my recent Addax tasting. -

September 10, 2023 - PnP. Dark purple color. Very aromatic showing sweet blackcurrants, black cherries, anise and cigar box. Full-bodied, smooth mouthfeel loaded with blackberry, black cherry, anise, tobacco. medium tannins in the long finish. Showing really well now. May improve with age.
