September 17, 2023 - I am a big, yes sehjr big fan of the white Sancerre and Rosé of Riffault. But this Sanceere rouge is not beautiful at all. A cooked fruit, a lot of alcohol, lack of balance and freshness. We could not drink more than half a glass.

July 29, 2023 - This is an extremely fruit forward Pinot Noir. I almost mistook it for a sweet wine. On day two it was more balanced and less fruit dominant however I enjoyed the wine more on the first day.

January 15, 2022 - Rund smak, sötlakrits och röda bär. Alldeles för söt för min smak. Drack till smårätter, grillad broccoli, kycklingben och räkor med rosmarin och vitlök. Sötman blev tydligare utan mat. Testa till annan mat och servera kallare nästa gång.

Just röd Sancerre är en vinstil som man inte ofta stöter på så ofta utanför Frankrike eftersom produktionen är så försvinnande liten, men kommer man över dem är de ofta en njutning att prova. Vinmakaren Stéphane Riffault förvaltar sina druvor väl när han med tydlig burgundisk inspiration mejslat fram ett vin som tar appellationen "Sancerre Rouge" till nästa nivå - hantverksmässigt definierat av ett knivskarpt fokus, glimrande balans och vibrerande en livfull frukt på ett sätt man sällan stöter på i Sancerre.
Lagringshorisont: 2021-2029
