    Medium (+) palate.

    Medium body, high acidity, long finish.

    from the hillside between Chavignol and Sancerre with 65% limestone
    and 35% clay soil and vines planted at high density and low yield.
    Only organic fertilizer. Grass cover between rows.
    Gentle pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15-18°C.
    Aged 5 months on lees.
    14% Abv, Vegan friendly.
    Background: Family of winegrowers for 10 generations.
    Domaine started with Henri Bourgeois with 2 ha in the 1950s.
    Sons Jean-Marie et Rémi joined in the 1960s.
    Today their offsprings continue.

    June 26, 2022 - Gradevole con la sua nota caratteristica di pompelmo che si trova quasi in tutte le annate. Non so se mi sono evoluto io o sono peggiorati loro ma questo agrume nel vino così spinto mi ha un po' stancato.
