  July 29, 2007 - Saved two cases for our wedding reception. Guests couldn't stop talking about how great the wine was. Just ready to drink, lovely honeyed mineral notes, pears, apples, mouth-filling, slightly sweet but light on its feet, and extremely well balanced. I wish I had more.

  July 2, 2007 - I bought this on release because it tasted like a "true" kabinett compared to most 2001 Kabs that I tasted and bought. Indeed at this juncture it is notable for being light of weight, though by no means light in flavor intensity. Lovely yellow fruits and minerals becoming secondary. Far from dry. But weightless. Really good wine.
