January 8, 2023 - With the Mizono’s. They were quite pleased, so I was quite pleased. Classic? BDX blend. Is meritage used any more? 60% cab 35% Merlot 10 and 5. Lovely and lush. Drunk outside and Mary noted a short finish…maybe so, maybe from the cold, maybe not. Let’s go back to lovely.

December 26, 2022 - Better with a decant. Cassis, blackberry, wet stone. Smooth pallet, firm yet silky tannins. Probably a few years to go easily. Super long finish. Blueberry tones. Nice wine.
