    January 12, 2023 - It’s light, almost too light.

Light tannin, light earth…fruity with a slight Game to it.

It’s not terribly complex, but it drinks just fine. Idk, unless it’s a Bandol, it’s tough to find a stellar mouvedre to stand on its own.

I’d hold this for a few more years, as it was still quite young…. Unlike a Pinot, this may need more age to drink.

August 26, 2022 - Similar to last bottle, light, 13% abv, lots of flavor, earthy and good fruit, a pleasure to drink, complex flavors, drank with NJ strip steak, on to the next vintage, the wine has substance yet is light on it s feet.

February 3, 2022 - Great bouquet, light red color, lots of tannin, good fruit, 13.%abv, balanced, complex flavors, drank with strip steak and frites, the wine works on many levels- flavorful, intense flavor but light and easy drinking, earthy and fun to drink, Mourvèdre has become a new fav grape, will drink again.

August 16, 2021 - Tried it at the winery.
Never had a 100% Mourvèdre wine before so nothing to compare with. But this was certainly interesting. Refreshing, mineral finish. Light on tannins, floral, fruity palate. Would recommend pairing with lighter dishes or by itself.

Still in its youthful years should hold at least till 2030.
Bought a bottle to cellar a couple years to see how this goes.
