May 23, 2009 - So here’s a wine that has some traits not dissimilar to 2004 (was there a ladybug plague of 56?). It has green notes of basil and mirepoix with some liniment, mahogany and mushrooms. It is quite an intriguing wine as it lacks power but is lacy, delicate and ethereal with surprisingly good length.
