February 6, 2022 - 3.5 stars on the actual day of drinking, and 3.8 stars the day after. This rather unique Italian mellows and complex layers reveal itself much later!
Thanks to @[1|24439245|Joe Yee Wong] for sharing this wildcard at our blind taste session over Chinese new year. Guess he thought it may be a tie game in the 4-4 on the shootout we had Italy v France, so just in case...!
None of the Vivino sifus picked up that this is a Cab Sauv in our blind test, but perhaps that's because we had 8 bottles prior!
Hailing from Abruzzo, Marina Masciarelli produced this bold wine with great plum notes.
