May 17, 2012 - Decent enough. Tons of fine-grained sediment that makes the experience bitter and unpleasant. After standing the remainder of the bottle up for 24 hours undisturbed, the wine was much better - although having the typical characteristics of a warm year. The importance of decanting or using some type of very fine filtration (coffee filter?) is evident and enlightening in this case.

November 25, 2010 - Waited to long on this one. Hot and grapey. A nice wine in it's price range if you consumed it young. 06 is not an aging vintage, especially at the value end.

January 21, 2009 - Fairly classic new world pinot nose with cherries and perhaps some spice. Good mouthfeel, though it lacks the weight of a Kosta Browne; however, those wines are twice the price. A short finish. Overall, fiarly one-dimensional but a very good value.

January 14, 2009 - This is not a cali pinot noir. Mr. Russ Raney has been making wine a long time here in Oregon. This entry level bottle can age well for three to four years and has been a fevorite of mine for many vintages. At fifteen bucks you can't beat it.
