May 9, 2015 - My cellar has finally grown enough to allow me to enjoy 10+ year old wines. While generally familiar with Nickel & Nickel vineyards, this is the oldest vintage I've enjoyed. And I am NOT disappointed! The words velvety SMOOTH have not ever been applied to N&N, but with 12 years in the bottle? Wow - I have lingering notes for over 45 seconds in my mouth, while only creating that tannic experience with heavy mouthing. Enjoying after dinner with dark chocolate, and couldn't be happier...
