Community Tasting Notes 1

October 27, 2007 - Pop and poured with an almost port-like color. Opened up rather quickly, but 15 min in a decater would help it along. Vanilla, mint and current leap from the glass to the nose, with some dusty earth. Full bodied with cherry, blueberry and pleasant spice notes. Chewy tannins with some baked fruit on the finish. Balanced acidity, medium finish. Drink over the next 2 years while you wait for your Melchor.
