November 9, 2021 - The latest release of one of NZ’s top Chardonnay cuvées. Very much a cool climate expression. It’s definitely not Chablis but it is probably as close to Chablis as NZ Chardonnay gets. Chalky minerality meets green apple and other green fruit but also some richer tasting grapefruit and tangelo citrus. There is some ripe citrus and orchard fruit offsetting the powerful, persistent acidity. It’s currently a bit primary and run but I see the potential here - by around 2023+ - for this wine to further improve. An excellent vintage!
