January 28, 2022 - Surprisingly good actually. It's simple, and one note, but that one note is fresh, juicy Gamay fruit. As climate change causes me to pass on many Beaujolais vintages, finding them too ripe and lacking freshness, I have some hope that we might see more and higher quality offerings from the Loire. This is more of a value play than a high quality wine, but if simple and refreshing is in order, this scratches the itch.
