April 16, 2024 - Retail $75. 100% Nebbiolo. Medium color with muted fruit and plenty of forest floor and dark earth on the nose. Eventually some cranberry and black raspberry emerge along with black pepper and roasted sage. The palate is glorious with dried berry fruit, a touch of orange peel, and plenty of zing. The fruit lingers for quite some time and still dominates as the tannins introduce themselves; subtle at first but gradually slightly more assertive, yet they always remain silky and in obeyance to the fruit. Yowza, this is fantastic. And could likely go another decade easy. Outstanding. 94 Points.
