August 26, 2023 - Well polished and without complexity. Some oakiness and salt.

August 19, 2023 - Ordered from a restaurant's list, this light golden Chardonnay (sourced from 70-year-old vines) was popped, poured and serially tasted over 60-90 minutes. As it warmed up on the table, the wine released its attractive aromatics when reaching approximately 55°F (cellar temperature). At that point, what came forth was a beautiful package of stone fruits, clementines, Bosc pears, crushed rocks and white flowers. Medium-bodied, fruit-forward and without dominant alcohol (13%) or wood, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and stays solid on the mid-palate. With pervasive fruit but a drop-off in vibrancy on the medium-length back end, this is an enjoyable white but comes up a bit shy when considering the context of the appellation. Drink now-2028.

May 12, 2023 - Wanted to try a Chablis. And well it’s…fine. Medium body lemon lime. Became very flabby when it warmed up

December 30, 2022 - Solid chablis, ready to go.
