November 26, 2009 - Very dark with high smoky ozone aromas. Medium body with moderate acidity. Ozone carries to palate with cranberry assisting in the ali oop. Short finish. I'm not having any luck here on TDay.

November 21, 2008 - a 3 ounce pour as part of a tasting flight at a restaurant. this almost couldn't be a petite, as it was so approachable young. can you use the word supple to describe a wine you would expect to be a behemoth? hey! who am i to argue? i call this the quintessential wine for the environment we tasted it in: approachable, tasty, well structured, a little bit of oak and tannin, good fruit. so sue me, i liked it.

December 8, 2007 - This wine had a lot of gaminess, which I liked. It also had lots of bacon fat and mocha surrounded by black currant and plum. The mouth was velvety, and had black currant, meat, wet earth, and spice. There was a little oak on the finish.
