May 10, 2023 - Medium-dark reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe red cherries, mulberries & strawberries with overtones of floral & earthy/dusty notes, spices, minerals, cherry-cola, pepper, forest floor, tea & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, rich, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & mulberries with spices, minerals, & a touch of oak/vanilla. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with a few more years of additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).

February 22, 2023 - Premiere Napa Valley; 2/22/2023-3/25/2023 (Napa, California): Tasting at Dutton Goldfield
Dark red fruit, strawberries, liquorice, black pepper, wild herbs and fresh earth on the nose. The palate was medium+ bodied, juicy and quite concentrated with fresh tannins, pepper and spice filling out the palate. June 6, 2022 - Favorites - 2022 Wine Spectator Grand Tour - Las Vegas: Aromas leading with fig, melted stone, red florals and Eastern spice. Lively on the palate, beautifully layered and textured, with fine structure and nice depth.
