July 22, 2022 - Quite old but still a lot of power and fruit. Aged quite well. Much better than 1999.

June 24, 2021 - Reliable, affordable, commendable and storable!
So, extremely advisable and valuable for all those starting winelovers to put this wine into their cellars!

June 7, 2021 - Hang on, this actually did get better. I was recently revisiting some wine that slept in the cellar for quite some time, and then I came across this bottle. It actually is still quite tense and tannic, but the cow dunk retreated a bit showed some polished cherry notes below. Even if still astringent, the wood is now better integrated and provides some vanilla notes supporting a nice finish. So to my opinion, this could be ready to drink in 3 - 4 years maybe? One more bottle, one last shot to take at this... will report then back!

January 1, 2021 - Beautiful nose with earthyness,in the mouth combined with leather, and animal notes. However, no continuation, empty in the midphase, no complexity, no rondness. It ends with good acidity, but this exceeds the poor finish. No balance. 87 points. After 24 hours spices more pronounced, intense stable notes. more length. Upgrade to 88+.
