December 31, 2023 - Our New Years eve wine, an excellent wine, pure Syrah, nothing funky, red and black fruit. First one of this vintage we've opened, I'm looking forward to tasting it as it evolves over the next few years

February 10, 2023 - Aromas reflecting a tarte of cherries, plums, roasted sweet beets and vanilla. Dense, rich, solid mouth feel. A melange of red fruits, spice and pepper are noted on the palate but there’s no escaping the 14.7% alcohol that is ever-present. Older bottles I’ve tasted demonstrate how intrusive the high alcohol becomes with bottle age.

December 17, 2022 - Took a couple hours in the decanter to begin to open, I’d hold 3-5 years. Excellent wine after the needed air.

October 28, 2022 - Suntous blue and black fruit aromas lead the way mingle disperse themselves into layers of spice, dried violet, tar, coffee beans and chocolate. The palate offers tremendous structure and concentration supported by ripe tannins. Loads of elegance, balance and concentration, accompanied by an intriguing iron-like character makes this a top Syrah.

October 27, 2022 - Small US new arrivals tasting hosted by a merchant. Meaty nose with smoked bacon, dried meat, black olives, lots of smoke and a dark berry fruit. Then followed a surprisingly fresh palate, well-structured with good tension and intensity. A great Syrah, especially at such an early stage.
