Community Tasting Notes 3

March 30, 2024 - Fresh and bright, almost clear in colour. On the nose, packed full of soft white fruits and a good suggestion of vanilla from the 9mths in oak, in the mouth, bone dry and fresh, sharp green apple, hints of elder flowers and reasonable length. High priced, but normal for English wines (not sure if low yield or expensive UK production costs) worth a go, if only to try another new grape, made well.

December 27, 2023 - This has evolved a bit - increased richness and reduced freshness. A complex nose: yeast, pear, cider, banana. Richness on the palate with melon, apple, pineapple. Pretty fruity with medium acidity and waxy Bacchus texture. At this age probably better with food.

July 8, 2022 - Nice. Good body and weight. Nice peachy quality. Medium acidity. Good aromatics with some sage-like aspects. Short finish and not very complex.
