Community Tasting Notes 7

    December 28, 2023 - ENGLISH:
Nose: With a nice balance, but more on the crisp side, pineapple with peel and leaves on it, light nuts and some coconut, but mainly macadamia and pecan, a hint of banana chips
Taste: Significantly crisper, more voluminous and also more acidic than the Beringer Chardonnay, here clear, young, still slightly unripe pineapple, plus lime zest, some white grapefruit, some macadamia nuts, a slightly fermented note, somewhat reminiscent of fruity Rhum Agricoles with the mixture of bright, grassy terroir and citrusy peel
Finish: Tannins very restrained, acidity relatively present but not overloaded, pineapple and grapefruit linger for a while, only after several sips do you notice a slight nougat note from the barrel, which was also more clearly present in the Beringer with the vanilla in the mouth
Comment: Particularly nice how they managed to combine a quite voluminous, fruity Chardonnay with a quite round, balanced finish.

February 17, 2023 - Cata Cegues #1 (Nu Restaurant): The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. It smells like lemon, lime, pineapple, mango and light toast. The body is light/medium. The wine has linear texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

February 4, 2023 - FAINT FLORAL AROMA, BUT VERY PLEASANT LIGHT TASTE, ADMIRABLY EASY DRINKING!
