February 10, 2024 - Three hour decant. Good nose with hint of stone fruit and herbs. Fruit-forward sweetish mid palate. Rather short finish.

December 26, 2023 - Christmas. Decanted for 3 hours. Lots of ripe black fruit with strong tannins. Deep and vibrant purple in the glass. 91

September 22, 2023 - At Gallaghers Steak House in New York. My wife's birthday dinner before going to see "MJ the musical" (really great show by the way). They decanted the wine for us and we did let it sit a bit. Dark fruit, with a hint of chocolate on the nose. The palate was dark berries, plums, tobacco, cassis and a hint of wood leading to a moderately long finish.

April 25, 2023 - Had initial feelings of regret for purchasing this wine AND signing up for the wine club after opening and tasting this wine on the first night. Tasted like synthetic cherry and red candy and not horribly complex. Night number two was a completely different story. Almost a completely different wine! Cloves, holiday spice, plum and dark cherries and kirsch. Much darker fruit profile and as my wife said - "tastes a lot more sophisticated" than it did on the previous night.
