April 27, 2024 - A distinctly Alsatian nose of apple, mirabelle, hard candy, crushed rock and slight herbal tones. The fruit feels canned rather than fresh but it works here. On the palate it is bone dry and fairly broad with very solid acidity. Chiselled for sure. The palate mirrors the nose largely with the herbal side being a bit more prominent here. This is a markedly confident and well-rounded wine with a long finish and great drinkability. Not hugely complex but enjoyable and gastronomic.

December 26, 2023 - Quite golden colour. Dry and bracing. Concentrated.

August 11, 2023 - Straw colour with a nose of ripe white pear and baked apple and some lime.
The palate has more citrus than the nose would suggest with lime juice and a lip smacking, mineral dryness. Great intensity on the finish.

    January 23, 2023 - Organic & biodynamic wine.
Perhaps a bit young but I have to admit that I quite enjoyed this in its current state. Bright, crisp aromas and flavors topped off by a refreshing, almost airy finish. Awesomely balanced yummy stuff (and it will surely improve further with more time in the cellar).

    APPEARANCE:
    Color & intensity: medium lemon

    NOSE:
    Intensity: medium (+)
Aromas: lemon, lime, honeydew melon, white peach, yellow apple, honeysuckle, wet stones, hint of baking spices
    Development: developing

    PALATE:
    Sweetness: dry
    Acidity: high
    Alcohol: medium
    Body: medium (+)
    Intensity: medium (+)
Flavors: lemon, lime, mandarin orange, lemon zest, crushed stone, hints of baking spices and salt
    Finish: long

    CONCLUSIONS:
Quality level: very good (with potential to improve further)
Potential for ageing: can drink now, with very good potential for further ageing
