February 19, 2024 - Oak-filled nose of blackberries and spice. Med-full bodied, this is dry and tannic but with a nice hint of herbal influences. Given the lack of fruit, I doubt this will improve much with time in bottle, but it it shouldn't fade over the next 3-5 years, so why not wait? drink 2025-2028 90

October 10, 2023 - Paired wonderfully with a cherry glazed pork tenderloin. Notes of bing cherry and other red fruit.

March 29, 2023 - Part of a vertical tasting with the 2019. Started a little harsh but after 2 hours decanting this wine brought brilliance with well balamced notes of blended red fruit, lightly toasted oak, and vanilla. Wonderfully complex and well balanced.

November 5, 2022 - So good and full of bright red fruit with a slight touch of earth after decanting 90 minutes. At about 3 hours of decanting, turns dramatically more savory and less desirable, with leather, tobacco, and heavy dark earth more predominant, along with some funk on the finish.

September 12, 2022 - Really love this wine. Paired wonderfully with a classic meatloaf.
