Price: $45 Auburn Spirits West
Color: dark ruby with tinges of purple Legs: slow
Nose: black currant, cassis, blueberry, oak, subtle
Palate: black currants, blueberry, oak, leather,
Finish: black currant, cassis, tobacco, oak
Comments: popped and poured, still tight, tannic and somewhat disorganized, definitely will need cellar time to come together.
Recommend drinking window of 2025-2032.

August 28, 2022 - A very solid wine that delivers nicely, outperforming many wines at twice the price and is well worth the money in my opinion. Translucent, dark purple blueish color and soft nose. Blue and blackberry fruit, plum, and other dark fruits. Tobacco, oak and leather notes. Better than average in terms of flavor and extraction. Don't over anticipate, but for the money, this is a solid mid week wine that satisfies. Give it some air and enjoy. 90+ Points.
