February 3, 2024 - Massive wine. IMO 17s tend to drink sooner rather than later but this one needs lots of air. 1 hour decant which wasn’t nearly enough.

June 6, 2023 - One hour decant (not enough!). Big, bold structured cabernet. Black purple color. Rich black fruits, graphite and chocolate notes. Full bodied and balanced. Grippy tannins and a long finish. Price point a bit high, though maybe not for higher end Napa Cabs these days. I'll likely sit on my remaining bottle for a couple years and give a much longer decant as this didn't smooth out until the last couple glasses. It complemented a juicy NY strip well.

April 22, 2022 - Napa in Philly - Benefiting CureDuchenne (Fitler Club): Really nice wine, I think the only 2017 being poured at the event. It deserved to be recognized as a very very solid wine despite all the "better vintage" 2018/2019s being poured. Tasted next to the 2018 Moon Mountain and the 2018 Caldwell, both of those were a bit more classic in nature, where this was a bit more bold, brash, and delightfully tasty. Will need to look into Brion more.
