February 11, 2009 - Very pure. Tons of white peach and other fruit aromas. Chalk and onion. Sweeter than normal.

February 11, 2009 - Alzinger with Terry Theise (Seasonal): Exceptionally crisp and bright but also floral and pretty, a wine with rosy cheeks on the outside and a metallic, mineral skeleton underneath. The serious side dominates the finish, which is rough and tactile. When it warms up, though, it seems more dilute than both the '06 and '07.

September 27, 2007 - Austria (Wine Exchange in Orange, CA): Here the earth tones are balanced by some very primary-grapy fruit and subtler mineral. Great density and acidity, with flavors suggestive of dried vegetable matter.
