February 3, 2022 - Very good Bordeaux white. Some complexity (on lees aging?). More towards Semillon. Nice age, but still doing well, with capacity for age.

October 17, 2021 - The nose is much more semillon than the sauvignon blanc. Rich fig, bruised apple, a bit of graham cracker/fig newton. Some melon maybe. On the palate, the fruit tends more towards the tropical side, with papaya joining the fig. Medium body, medium minus acid, and some phenolic bitterness on the back of the palate that helps balance out the richness when the acid can't keep up. The finish is almost kiwi-like. All told, a solid example of white Bordeaux for a reasonable price.
