March 8, 2024 - Please please please give this time or a decant. Seemed too simple and stern at first, but after 2 hours it was very food friendly. Enjoyed it quite a bit with anything involving ranch dressing.

March 5, 2024 - I continue to underestimate this bottling because the vineyard is less well known than others (ie Temperance, Hyland, Koosah). But this is just stinking delicious. Lemon curd, brioche, tart yellow apple, candied lemon, med + acid, and a very long very pleasant finish. Paired well with Indian food previously and tonight with charred broccolini and Aleppo pepper. I have one more bottle I will save for a while but will likely buy more Havlin in the future!

December 7, 2023 - Nose of talc, face powder, very minerally, pear and unripe apple, sharp, soap, and wax. Palate is tart and lean. Green apple and mineral finish. Nose - 4/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Finish - 1/2 = 14/20.

October 8, 2023 - Drinking ok. It may have needed more time to open up than it was given. It did not display the weirdness of a previous bottle.

August 20, 2023 - No nose. Not showing much on the palate, and then suddenly a finish that I can only describe as putrid. Half an hour later, the wine was much the same....5 hours later, that nasty, retching component was absent, but the wine didn't really taste good or worth drinking. Corked and put in the fridge, the showing the next day was similarly blase' This wine wasn't corked (ie TCA infected) it didn't taste like brett or most VA. I really don't know what was wrong with this bottle, but it was pretty horrid.
