May 29, 2023 - I kind of agree with Vinelouse review earlier... It is not my favorite Chianti in this price bracket... Maybe time will balance it out.

March 30, 2023 - Red cherry and berry aromas, nice legs , cherry berry palate with nice tannins and mild acidity. Enjoyed with pasta and marinara sauce and with some chocolate mousse later. And quite a nice glass by itself. Ready to drink but will age ok for 3-4 years. After 24 hours open the wine still has loads of dark fruit and the tannins are becoming more brooding and somewhat dusty.

March 25, 2023 - I loved the 2015 of this but this is not ready, but lots of potential.

Aromas of tobacco, oak, smoke and hint of cranberry.

Palate is oregano, oak, and red fruit Medium acidity with medium chalk tannins and short finish. let it sleep for two more years.

March 24, 2023 - I hate to be a party pooper but I don’t necessarily agree with reviews listed below. The wine is oak heavy and lacking fruit which makes it comes across rather unbalanced and thin. With 14% alc it is packing a punch and it certainly shows. It deserves a better rating but this is to put things on an even keel. I will review in 2 years to come and hope for the best.

March 7, 2023 - This is a chewy Chianti, savoury and full bodied. The fruit is still there but less prominent than traditional Chianti. Acidity is a little lower as well though still there (little jolly rancher in the background but not sweet at all) This wine is enjoyable with both food or by itself. A little time open helps. The 14% alcohol is noticeable but not overpowering. Dry, nose also has a hind of jolly rancher. Curious to see what time will do to this wine but drinkable now
