  June 15, 2013 - Flavors consistent with my previous note but this bottle sung with fruit and spice and again I had it with spicy Mexican and is showed beatifully. The finish was smooth and tannic. Sadly this was my last bottle

  April 5, 2012 - Color is an intense purple-red with a reddish-brown edge. Nose is full of fuit and ALCOHOL. Flavors are very nice peppery spice with strong fruit and a bit of oak and nice tannins. Compared this wine with an 05 Krug and while very nice it lacked the super layering of the Krug. It went well with Spicy mexican food and did fine when drunk alone later in the evening. This wine will likely develop a bit more in the next year or so.

  May 16, 2008 - Not bad. I would drink this again but it lacks the complexity and spice that I like in the finish of a Zinfandel. Not bad for the $20 price point at Costco but the Folie a Deux Zin is better and less expensive.
